A lot of shaking on the Pacific Ocean sea floor during 24-hours of seismic activity along the outer fault line of the two that run parallel with the Oregon Coast, Friday, Aug. 28th and early Saturday, Aug. 29th.  According to the U.S. Geological Survey, six-earthquakes in all, were recorded, led by a 4.8-magnitude west of Petrolia, CA, near Cape Mendocino in Northern California. In the same area, a 2.6-magnitude occurred.  Off the Central Coast of Oregon, a 3.5-magnitude quake, at a depth of six-miles.  And, early Saturday, several west of Ferndale, CA, a 2.8-magnitude along with a 2.9 and a 2.6.  Also, Saturday, west of Petrolia, CA, a 2.9-magnitude quake.  On land in Northern California, a 2.2-magnitude north to northwest of Willow Ck. CA.  On Monday, Aug. 31st, 4.4-magnitude, west of Ferndale, CA, on the outer fault line.  Also, Monday, 2.7-magnitude, west of Bandon, near the outer fault line and at  a depth of six-miles.  Back on line, east to southeast of Willow Ck. CA. a 1.9-magnitude.
