Description

OHSU's Knight Cancer Institute has eliminated positions at its Cancer Early Detection Advanced Research Center and the SMMART precision oncology program. Officials say the Knights' donation is restricted to new initiatives and cancer treatment.

As Oregon Health & Science University moves forward with a major expansion of its cancer care operations, its Knight Cancer Institute is cutting dozens of jobs and scaling back parts of its research portfolio.
