Celebrate Valentine’s weekend by showing some love to the places that give us so much 💘 Join us for two coastal habitat restoration volunteer events:
🌿 Trinidad State Beach – Saturday, February 14
Remove invasive plants like English ivy to restore Sitka spruce and coastal scrub habitats.
📍 Main parking lot off Stagecoach Road
🌾 Tolowa Dunes State Park – Big Dune – Sunday, February 15
Help restore the dunes by pulling European beachgrass and pampas grass.
📍 Lake Earl Wildlife Area building, Crescent City
🛠 Good to Know:
🌟 Free and all ages welcome (minors with parent or guardian)
💚 Volunteers get a free day-use pass to Sue-meg State Park
🌳 Moderate activity. Sturdy shoes, hat, water recommended
💘 Make it a date with nature or bring a friend and give back this weekend.
