I spent 40 years of my life voting 100% Republican. In the last gubernatorial election, I voted for State Sen. Christine Drazan. It appeared for the first time in a very long time that Oregon had a viable Republican candidate for governor. I was disappointed that Drazan lost her first run for governor, but it’s turned out to be a blessing.
