Description

The latest example of unconscionable inaction by Multnomah County Chair Jessica Vega Pederson is her failure to initiate plans for a sobering center until the money from the state has arrived, (“Multnomah County commissioner concerned about board chair’s lack of urgency in moving forward with plans for sobering center,” April 19.) I’m sure once she knows exactly how much money is allocated to a sobering center, she will know exactly how much should be given to expensive consultants to study the problem for a year or two and then make some impractical recommendations.
