The Oregonian/OregonLive article about the Pause Act describes the danger that the Public Employee Retirement System faces as the result of its risky investments in private equity, (“Lawmakers consider bill that would pause new PERS investments in private fossil fuel funds,” Jan. 23). This worries me as a PERS retiree.
