For more than 50 years, I’ve hiked, climbed, birded and explored Oregon’s mountains, rivers, deserts and coastline. These places — and the wildlife that depend on them — are increasingly at risk. Yet Oregon still lacks a long‑term, stable funding source to protect its natural heritage.
