A recent article notes that the man accused of driving an explosives-laden car into the Multnomah Athletics Club previously had his firearms seized under Oregon’s red flag gun control law, (“MAC attack suspect lost guns under Oregon ‘red flag’ law,” May 3). The article states that this “may have been a key safeguard in the case” and “a reason no one other than the suspect died” in the attack.
