I’m disappointed that Multnomah County has gone ahead with hiring Eli Hurley as its director of animal services even though the county auditor reported in early September that Hurley’s resume misled the county about his qualifications, (“New animal services director flubbed his resume. Multnomah County hired him anyway,” Sept. 21).
