Description

A recent article in The Oregonian/OregonLive reported on the Greater Idaho movement, (“Greater Idaho secessionists make billboard pitch to Salem lawmakers: ‘Release eastern Oregon,’” Jan. 23). The advocates of this movement don’t seem to understand some basics. You can’t just break apart our 166-year-old state without compensation, among other considerations.
