Thank you to reporter Gosia Wozniacka for her piece examining Ross Island through the lens of Portlanders invested in hope for the island’s future, (“Portland’s ‘Jurassic Park,’ the island no one is allowed to visit,” May 22). Reading their accounts of returning wildlife and ongoing restoration efforts was a much-needed palate cleanser amid the daily barrage of political news.
