Protests outside Portland’s U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement office have been going on for months, with no change in policy whatever. If protesting is fun for people, fine, but they shouldn’t believe they are accomplishing anything, (“Protest frog, 5 others arrested near ICE building after Border Patrol shoots 2 people in SE Portland,” Jan. 9).
