Description
Just how many elected officials does it take to screw in a light bulb? We have a capable Multnomah County Board of Commissioners, along with its chair, charged with implementing the Preschool for All mandate. Then, Gov. Tina Kotek and the Oregon Legislature decided to interfere. Why? (“Gov. Tina Kotek digs in heels on criticism of universal preschool program: ‘The program as it stands cannot keep its promise,’” June 26).
