Description
This year, the Legislature passed Senate Bill 1098, which says school districts can’t reject or remove library materials for including the perspectives of protected groups (“Oregon’s ban on book bans is headed for a final vote in the Legislature,” May 24). It also creates a formal review process before any removal happens.
