Description

Like most Portland-area residents, I am in awe of the beautiful new PDX and its amazing wood ceiling, (“‘Just in awe’: PDX main airport terminal reopens with trees and 9-acre wood-beamed ceiling,” Aug. 14). However, when waiting for arriving passengers last night, I could not help but notice the litter on the ceiling in the form of errant Mylar balloons. How can this litter be tamed? Should we use a drone to fetch them? Should we ban their possession in the airport? Should we launch a “Keep Our Ceiling Beautiful” public relations campaign?
