Oregon’s behavioral health system fails to serve most of our acutely ill and vulnerable residents, which directly contributes to our state’s homelessness crisis. The recent ruling by U.S. District Judge Adrienne Nelson, combined with limited access to the Oregon State Hospital, underscores this truth, (“Judge places new limits on who can be admitted to Oregon State Hospital,” June 2).
