Description

Deena Buchanan, left, SCHHC Mammogram and Ultrasound Technologist, gives Bandon resident Kris Icardo a pink Kitchen Aid stand mixer that she won in a drawing among patients who had a mammogram at the hospital in October or November.

The Southern Coos Health Foundation purchased the mixers and also offers free mammograms year-round for uninsured or underinsured individuals. The second mixer will go to a staff member who had their mammogram at the hospital in the previous year.

Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center offers full-service medical imaging, including 3-D Mammography, Bone-Density DEXA Scans, Ultrasounds and Echocardiograms, CT Angiography scans, MRIs, X-Ray services and more. CT and X-Ray services are available 24/7.

The SCHHC Medical Imaging Department offers state-of-the-art equipment and is American College of Radiology (ACR) and FDA accredited. Immediate preliminary readings are available.
