Students, teachers and staff returned to classes at a West Richland, Washington, elementary school two days after a gunman shot and killed his ex-wife on the campus where she worked.

More than 500 students were met Wednesday by therapy dogs, police officers and counselors as they resumed classes at William Wiley Elementary School.
