Description
A 3.7-magnitude earthquake was recorded west of Coos Co., early Friday, Sept. 4. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was located on the outer fault line of the two that run parallel with the Oregon Coast and at a depth of six-miles. There was also a 2.8-magnitude recorded at the southern end of the two fault lines, Thursday, Sept. 3, southeast of Petrolia, CA, near Cape Mendocino in Northern California.
