Description
Three earthquakes were recorded near or at the southern end of the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast, Friday, March 20th & Saturday, March 21st. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 2.9-magnitude was located west of Ferndale, CA, on the outer fault line, Saturday morning. On Friday, A 3.0-magnitude was recorded right at the junction of the two fault lines, west of Petrolia, CA, and a 3.3-magnitude was recorded on land, east to northeast of Hydesville, CA. All three near Cape Mendocino in Northern California. On Saturday, a 2.9-magnitdue quake recorded west of Petrolia, CA.
