A pair of earthquakes were recorded nearshore, Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026 along the South Oregon Coast. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 3.1-magnitude quake and a 2.6-magnitude were both located in Curry Co., South to Southeast of Port Orford.
