Description
A 3.5-magnitude earthquake hit the outer fault line of the two the run parallel with the Oregon Coast, early Sunday, Dec. 22nd, west of Coos County. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was located directly west of Bandon and at a depth of six-miles. There was also a 2.6-magnitude quake at the southern junction, west of Petrolia, CA, near Cape Mendocino in Northern California. A 3.0-magnitude quake was also measured Sunday, west of Petrolia, CA.
