The southern end of the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast continues to rumble in Northern California. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 3.9-magnitude earthquake was recorded Wednesday, west to northwest of Petrolia, CA. It was followed by 2.5-magnitude and a 2.7-magnitude, all near Cape Mendocino.
