A 2.8-magnitude earthquake was recorded at the southern end of the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast, Friday, April 11. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was located west of Petrolia, CA, near Cape Mendocino in Northern California. On Sunday, a 2.7-magnitude quake was recorded west of Ferndale, CA and a 2.5-magnitude was recorded early Monday morning west to northwest of Petrolia, CA.
