A couple of earthquakes were recorded at the southern end of the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast, Monday, March 31. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 2.9-magnitude quake was located southwest of Fortuna, CA and a 2.5-magnitude quake a little further south on land, north to northwest of Laytonville, CA, both near Cape Mendocino in Northern California.
