On September 19th 2026, from noon to 8 p.m., the Coquille Valley Elks will be hosting a “Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, at 54947 Lee Valley Road, Coquille, Oregon, with all proceeds going to the Coos County Sheriff’s Office K9 Program.
Dinner begins at 5:00 p.m. $15 per person. Please RSVP with Jennifer at 541-572-1935.
During dinner, Shelly Reese, Deputies T. Hansen and A. Churchill will be recognized for life-saving efforts from an incident in 2025. A special guest will also be in attendance.
The public and members of the media are welcome and encouraged to attend.
