An estimated 500 demonstrators gathered at the Portland ICE building on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2026 to condemn the fatal shooting of a 37-year-old man in Minneapolis by federal agents.

More than 500 protesters descended on the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in South Portland on Saturday to condemn the fatal shooting of a 37-year-old man in Minneapolis by a federal officer.
