Marshfield won its own invitational Saturday at the Pirate Palace, Coos Bay. The Lady Pirates beat league foe Cottage Grove, 2-0; The Dalles, 2-1, in the semi-finals and Churchill, 2-0 in the final.

At the Cottage Grove Bramble Scramble Cross-Country meet Saturday, North Bend’s Addison Horning took first place in the girl’s 5K race (20:43.71). Siuslaw’s Adylin Holbrook was ninth (21:49.85). Bend won the team race, Siuslaw was fourth and North Bend sixth. Bend’s Finley Lyke won the boy’s race, while Siuslaw’s Henry Stone was second (16:41.81). North Bend’s Angelo Pedrini was 12th (18:18.40).
