Prep volleyball scores from Friday, Sept. 19: 2A – Gold Beach downed visiting New Hope Christian, 3-0. North Coast: Nestucca beat visiting Faith Bible/Life Christian, 3-0. Saturday, Sept. 20: 4A – at the Marist Invitational, the host Spartans beat Pleasant Hill, 2-1, Klamath Union, 2-0, Sweet Home, 2-0, & Klamath Union, 2-0. At the North Marion Tournament, Cottage Grove downed Molalla, 2-0, but lost to Philomath, 2-0. Tillamook fell to Burns, 2-0. 2A – Mohawk Tournament – Myrtle Pt. beat Lost River, 2-0. The Bobcats downed Southwest Christian, 3-1. MP over Mohawk, 2-0.
