Twenty-three cross-country teams ran at the Umpqua Invite, Stewart Park, Roseburg, Wednesday. South Medford won the boy’s team race with 70-points, Sheldon was second with 90. Bandon was tenth (245), North Bend 19th (564) and Reedsport 23rd (611). Individually: Benjamin Kehrein, Sheldon, won the 5K race in 15:23.00. Beckett Pahls, Bandon, was 23rd (17:00.00), Eli Nicholson, Myrtle Pt., was 62nd (18:10.90), Jude Lichte, Reedsport, 103rd (19:03.60), Cameron Metzgus, North Bend, 109th (19:15.80). South Medford won the girl’s 18-team 5K race with 105-points. Pleasant Hill was second with 131. North Bend was sixth (208), Coquille seventh (209), Bandon 13th (301) and Myrtle Pt. 18th (456). Individually, Coquille freshman Ella Henthorne won the race in 18:32.50. North Bend freshman Addison Horning was third (19:17.40). Bandon sophomore Giada Moore was 25th (20:42.30). Gold Beach freshman Coco Plaep was 35th (21:35.20).
