OSAA VB Tournaments

Sixteen volleyball teams are headed to the courts at Marshfield and North Bend Friday and Saturday to compete for the OSAA/OnPoint Community Credit Union State 4A & 3A State Championships. The eight-team 4A tournament will take place at North Bend HS and the eight-team 3A Tournament at Marshfield. First round matches are set 9 a.m. Thursday, and championship semi-finals Thursday night, 6p, at both locations. Trophy matches will take place on Saturday at both NBHS & MHS. Tickets to the tournaments are available on-line at www.osaa.org.

OSAA State GSC Playoffs

The first round of the OSAA/OnPoint Community Credit Union State Soccer Playoffs get underway on Wednesday, Nov. 6th around the State. In the 4A girls: Newport travels to Marist Catholic, 5 p.m. North Bend plays La Grande at Eastern Oregon University, 6 p.m. Round 2 of the 3A girls: Blanchet Catholic (Salem) at Brookings-Harbor, 2 p.m.

OSAA State BSC Playoffs

Siuslaw/Mapleton’s boys were eliminated from the OSAA/OnPoint Community Credit Union Soccer Playoffs with a 4-2 loss Tuesday at Dayton. The Vikings finish 12-4-1.
