OSAA Speech & Debate Championships

Marshfield & North Bend’s Speech & Debate teams are competing in the 2024 OSAA Speech & Debate State Championships at Western Oregon University, Monmouth, April 18-20. Also in attendance is Bandon & Coquille.

Marshfield’s boys’ volleyball team debuted at home on Thursday against visiting Thurston. The Pirates won the first set 26-24, but dropped the next three to the Colts 25-15, 25-9, & 25-11.

Some of Marshfield’s track team will attend the Oregon Relays at Hayward Field, Eugene, Friday & Saturday, while others go to the Brookings Rotary Invitational Saturday. North Bend’s track team is hosting the Bulldog Decathlon/Heptathlon through Friday on Frank Shriver Track, Vic Adams Stadium. Some of Coquille’s Track team will take in the Oregon Relays in Eugene, Friday & Saturday, while others go to the Brookings Rotary Invitational Saturday. Bandon is hosting the Bandon Challenge Friday. Myrtle Pt., Pacific and Reedsport will participate at Bandon.

Marshfield’s tennis teams host Cascade Christian, Saturday, April 20, noon & 2p, at the Boy’s & Girl’s Club at Coos Bay.
