Both Marshfield and North Bend track & field teams head to the Roseburg Twilight Invitational Saturday, April 12. Coquille hosts its annual Twilight Meet on Friday night with many teams from the South Coast participating.

Prep softball scores from Thursday, April 10: 4A – Marshfield and visiting North Valley split a doubleheader at Coos Bay, Pirates win the opener, 14-2, but fall in the second game, 12-5. Seaside fell at Estacada, 16-5 (5). St. Helens beat visiting Scappoose, 5-2. Astoria won at Tillamook, 22-9 (5). 3A – Taft beat visiting Nestucca, 11-8. 2A/1A – Powers won at Elkton, 20-6.
