So, how has the start of the 2025 Prep Softball Season gone so far for the State’s Coastal Teams? Not too good in the preseason with league play close for many. As of Monday, March 31st, at the top in the 4A Cowapa League: Astoria 2-2-1, Seaside 2-3, & Tillamook 2-4. On the Central Coast, 4A Oregon West Conf.: Newport 0-4. In the Sky-Em League a bright spot: Marshfield 3-1, but North Bend 0-5. In the Coastal 3A: SD1: Warrenton 1-5-1. SD3: Taft 3-3. Far West League: Coquille 0-2, Siuslaw 0-5. Southern Oregon Conf.: Brookings-Harbor 1-5. In the 2A/1A: SD1: Knappa 4-2, Nestucca 0-4. SD4: Toledo 3-2, Bandon 2-0, Waldport 0-2.
