Round one of the OSAA 4A State Girl’s Soccer Playoffs were held on Tuesday. No. 1 Marist Catholic disposed of visiting Pendleton, 10-0. The top-ranked Spartans will face North Marion/St. Paul in the quarterfinals, Saturday, Nov. 8. North Marion/St. Paul was the only visiting team to win on the road in Round One. Seaside fell at Gladstone, 4-2. Newport lost at Henley, 8-0. North Bend lost at Klamath Union, 1-0. In the 3A/2A/1A playoffs, Brookings-Harbor won on the road, 3-2 over St. Mary’s at Medford. The Bruins will play at No. 2 Amity, Saturday, Nov. 8.
