Just a couple of games to go in the Prep Football regular season. In the 4A Special District 4 - Third-ranked Marshfield Pirates (3-0, 7-0) plays at fifth-ranked Henley (3-0, 4-2), Friday, Oct. 24, 7 p.m., in the Klamath Basin of Southern Oregon. Third-place, and 16th ranked North Bend (2-1, 3-4) hosts fourth-place Hidden Valley (1-2, 1-5), and 17th ranked, for Homecoming, 7 p.m., Vic Adams Field. On the North Coast – SD1: Scappoose at Astoria. Tillamook at Gladstone/Riverdale. St. Helens at Seaside. All at 7 p.m. Second ranked Scappoose (3-0, 6-1) is in the driver’s seat after already beating second-place Tillamook (2-1, 5-2) and third-place Seaside (2-1, 3-4). Tillamook and Seaside will play each other in the final regular season game, Oct. 31, at Seaside. In the 3A classification, SD4: Sutherlin at Coquille. Brookings-Harbor at Siuslaw. So. Umpqua at Douglas. Fifth-ranked Siuslaw (3-0, 5-2) has the lead going into the final two regular season games. Coquille (2-1, 4-3) and Douglas (2-1, 3-4) are tied for second, followed by Sutherlin (1-2, 4-3), So. Umpqua (1-2, 4-3) and Brookings-Harbor (0-3, 2-5). Siuslaw hosts Coquille in the league finale, Oct. 31st, at Florence. Central Coast – SD2: Dayton at Blanchet Catholic (Thursday). Newport at Taft (Lincoln City). Salem Academy at Amity. Santiam Christian at Scio. All 7 p.m. Third-ranked Dayton (5-0, 7-0) leads the league. 11th ranked Taft (4-1, 5-2) and 15th ranked Santiam Christian (4-1, 5-2) are tied for second-place. Scio (2-3, 3-4) and Salem Academy (2-3, 2-4) are tied for fourth and Amity (1-4, 2-5), Newport (1-4, 1-6) & Blanchet Catholic (1-4, 1-6) are all tied for sixth. Taft plays at Santiam Christian, Adair Village, in the regular season finale, Oct. 31st. In 2A – SD4: Gold Beach at Bandon. Oakland at Myrtle Pt. Both 7 p.m. Sixth-ranked Bandon (2-0, 6-0) and fifth-ranked Oakland (2-0, 4-2) lead the league. Eighth-ranked Myrtle Pt. (2-1, 5-2) is third, followed by 13th ranked Gold Beach (0-2, 4-3) and Glide (0-3, 4-3). Bandon will host Oakland in the league finale, Oct. 31st. Non-league has Falls City at Reedsport, 7 p.m. Central Coast – SD3: Oakridge at Toledo. Waldport at Central Linn. Harrisburg at Monroe. Lowell has a non-league game at third-ranked St. Paul (4-0, 5-1). All 7 p.m. Tenth ranked Lowell (5-0, 6-1) leads the league, while Harrisburg (3-1, 5-2) & Toledo (3-1, 3-3) are tied for second. Monroe (3-2-3-4) is fourth, followed by Central Linn (1-3, 1-5), Oakridge (0-4, 1-5) and Waldport (0-4, 0-7). Toledo hosts Harrisburg in the league finale, Oct. 30th. North Coast – SD1: Gaston at Nestucca, 7 p.m. Thursday: Vernonia at Rainier. Knappa at Clatskanie. 1A6 – SD3: Saturday, Powers at Gilchrist, noon. Powers (3-1, 4-3) is tied for second-place with North Lake (3-1, 4-2). Elkton (4-0, 5-1) is first.
