OSAA 3A BXB

The first day of the OSAA/OnPoint Community Credit Union 3A Basketball Tournament in the Bay Area is complete with no major surprises in the opening round, the championship quarter-finals. At the girl’s tourney at MHS: No. 1 Valley beat Sutherlin, 58-20; No. 4 Creswell downed No. 5 Sisters, 52-40; No. 3 Banks over No. 6 Valley Catholic, 51-24; and No. 2 Amity beat No. 7 Pleasant Hill, 48-26. Girl’s Consolation Semi-finals this morning at NBHS has Sutherlin vs. Sisters, 9 a.m. and Pleasant Hill vs. Valley Catholic, 10:45 a.m. Championship Semi-Finals at MHS: 6:30 p.m., No. 4 Creswell vs. No. 1 Vale, and at 8:15 p.m., No. 2 Amity vs. No. 3 Banks. In the boy’s bracket at NBHS: No. 17 Banks beat No. 9 St. Mary’s, 72-68; No. 5 Pleasant Hill lost to No. 4 Riverside, 61-57; No. 3 Valley Catholic over No. 6 Blanchet Catholic, 90-71; and, No. 2 Cascade Christian topped No. 7 Creswell, 56-37. Consolation semi-final his morning at MHS, has St. Mary’s vs. Pleasant Hill, 9 a.m., and Creswell vs. Blanchet Catholic, 10:45 a.m. Championship semi-finals at MHS: Banks vs. Riverside, 1:30 p.m., and Valley Catholic vs. Cascade Christian, 3:15 p.m. All games broadcast live on the OSAA Radio Network, or seen on the NFHS Network.

OSAA 2A BXB

At the 2A Girl’s Tournament, Pendleton, Bandon lost in the opening round, 37-34 to Western Christian. The Tigers (24-4) are in the Consolation Bracket this morning vs. Weston-McEwen (23-3), 10:45 a.m. Knappa lost to No. 1 Regis, 72-38, and will play Oakland this morning at 9 a.m.

OSAA 1A BXB

At the 1A Girl’s Tournament, Baker City, Powers girls lost to No. 1 Imbler, 58-35. The Cruisers play this morning, 9 a.m., against Jordan Valley.

OSAA 4A Playoffs

Both North Bend’s girls and Marshfield’s boys hit the road for the opening round of the 2026 OSAA/OnPoint Community Credit Union 4A Basketball Playoffs. The Pirates have the longest trip of any other team in the State going border to border to play La Grande, Friday, March 6, 5 p.m. North Bend’s girls head to St. Helens on Saturday, March 7, 6 p.m. Winners advance to the OSAA 4A Tournament at Forest Grove, March 12-14.
