UO release - EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon outfielder Mason Neville have been named a third-team All-American by Baseball America. The All-America honor is the fourth this season for Neville, who was named first-team All-America by the NCBWA, second team by Perfect Game, as well as being a member of the ABCA/Rawlings All-America Third Team. Neville, a semifinalist for both the Dick Howser Trophy and the Golden Spikes Award, finished the season leading the nation in both home runs (26) and home runs per game (0.46). The Ducks' centerfielder slashed .290/.429/.724 with a 1.153 OPS. A first-team All-Big Ten Conference selection, Neville shattered Oregon's single-season home run record with eight more than the old record, while also setting a school record for slugging percentage and walks (53) as well as tying for the program record in runs scored (67). He ended his junior season as the Oregon career leader in slugging percentage (.699), while also ranking second in home runs (42) and fifth in on-base percentage (.405).
