Cassie Wilson lives in an apartment on East Burnside Street and is pictured in front of her washer/dryer unit. She relies on outside help to move laundry and would like to buy a home one day to renovate to better accommodate her mobility needs. “Every time I use the dryer I need a friend or neighbor come help me move clothes to the dryer and get them out when it’s done,” Wilson said. “It’s a problem that goes unseen unless you’re experiencing it directly or know someone who is.
