Description

On Oct. 19, Lisa Miyamoto struck a Federal Protective Service officer in the chest with an Irish drum known as a bodhran after he had asked her to step backwards out of the building’s driveway. The officer was not injured, the prosecutor said.

A 56-year-old woman was sentenced Thursday to a year of probation after she pleaded guilty to the misdemeanor assault of a federal officer outside the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement building in Portland.
