Playdate is a retro handheld video game console made Panic, a tech firm in downtown Portland.

Customers who bought the Playdate handheld video game console received unexpected emails Wednesday, a notice they’re receiving refunds for tariffs the federal government had charged — levies the Supreme Court later ruled illegal.
