Description

Like the person pictured in this image from 2022, people living outside are often in need of basic indoor services, including showers, charging stations and a place to direct mail. Mayor Keith Wilson's plan to open more day centers is meant to address that need.

An existing day center in Northeast Portland near the border of the Montavilla and Rose City Park neighborhoods is now offering expanded hours and weekend service with help from the city.
