Next month, Shorebird Bakery will leave its home at Woodblock Chocolate and more into Oakshire Brewing's Northwest Portland beer hall.

If there was one thing stopping the 2025 expansion of one of Seattle’s best bakeries from being the biggest thing to happen to Portland baking since sliced bread, it was this: no croissants.
