Description

Students head into school at the newly-renovated Benson Polytechnic High School in Northeast Portland. Benson was rebuilt with funding from two previous bonds; Portland Public Schools board members approved plans Tuesday night to put a bond on the May, 2025 ballot to pay for similar facelifts at Cleveland and Wells High Schools, plus a host of other projects and initiatives.

Members of the Portland Public School board voted unanimously Tuesday to refer a $1.83 billion bond measure to the May ballot, the largest school bond ask in Oregon history.
