Description
Portland police say they believe an arsonist is responsible for destroying or damaging at least 15 bureau vehicles after midnight Thursday morning.
The cars and SUVs were found burning at the bureau’s training division near Portland International Airport when firefighters got called to the scene before 2 a.m.
The fire was quickly extinguished. The training center building itself, located in the14900 block of Northeast Airport Way, was undamaged.
The Portland Police Bureau has opened an investigation into the suspected arson.
