Tyler J. Scott, as shown in this screen shot from a body-worn camera, raised his arms to gesture surrender only to reach into his waistband, pull out a gun and fire on two Clackamas County sheriff's deputies in 2023, prosecutors said.

A 34-year-old man was sentenced Thursday to 30 years in prison for shooting and wounding two Clackamas County sheriff’s deputies in 2023.
