Description
A Portland man was sentenced to four years in prison Monday after trespassing in a grocery store and punching and strangling a grocery store employee, causing her to lose consciousness.
Vonnon Wentworth, 54, pleaded guilty last week to first-degree burglary in connection with the incident. Four other counts from the case, including strangulation, first-degree assault and menacing were dismissed as part of the plea agreement.
