U.S. District Judge Amy M. Baggio imposed a 15-year sentence that was jointly recommended by prosecutor Mira Chernick and defense lawyer Benjamin T. Andersen.

A 28-year-old man who kidnapped his ex-girlfriend in Portland and drove her to a wooded area in Washington state where he raped her at gunpoint was sentenced Thursday to 15 years in federal prison.
