Description

Portland budget officials have suggested cuts to the city's Impact Reduction Program, which cleans and removes hundreds of homeless encampments each month, as a way to help fund a proposal to increase City Council staff.

One of the first big issues that Portland’s 12-member City Council plans to confront this year is whether to increase their own office budgets and that of Mayor Keith Wilson by millions of dollars.
