This Portland residence was designed by Lever Architecture and is featured in the 2026 Portland Homes Tour.Lever Architecture’s Alberta Arts House was designed for an active couple in their 70s who wanted a single-level house with flexible spaces.The residence has a heat recovery ventilation system, insulation beyond standard building code and triple glazed windows to retain a comfortable indoor temperature year round.The house has 1,250 square feet of interior space and a covered terrace for outdoor entertaining.The new contemporary home was designed to blend with the neighborhood's Craftsman-style houses.

People interested in architecture and looking to renovate their home can tour private residences and hear architects discuss design solutions during the 2026 Portland Homes Tour on Saturday, April 25.
